Oscar Beauty: Best of the Night

by Christina

Another year, another awards season coming to a close, but not without the big finale: The Academy Awards. There were so many stunning looks on the red carpet tonight, the ladies really pulled out all the stops! Let's dive right in with our host for the evening:

Anne Hathaway: She's such a classic beauty, and definitely got it right for the evenings festivities. Beautiful lip color, and clean updo. Her hair is a bit lighter here which I am loving as well.

Amy Adams: I feel like she really stepped out of her comfort zone with this look. Her makeup is usually so subdued and neutral, the smokey navy eyes and warm lip color is a nice change

Celine Dion: I was speechless when she walked the red carpet. Look at those lashes...WOW!! Warm tones on the eyes and soft waves in the hair, what a beauty she is.

Gwyenth Paltrow: Another truly classic beauty. I love everything about this modern take on a golden goddess. There's only one small thing I would change about this look...bring out her brows just a touch more, they are a bit too light, no?

Halle Berry: Golden, Glowing and GORGEOUS! Can this woman ever do wrong? I am so glad she's back to rocking that classic short hair. What a beauty!!

Jennifer Hudson: Looking trim, happy and fabulous. The color of the dress is stunning and works with her skin tone so well. I am swooning over her flawless complexion

Reese Witherspoon: A look you either love or hate, but I simply love this! The ponytail is young, vibrant and refreshing to see on the red carpet. Also looking fresh is the makeup. Love love love!!

Mandy Moore: A young, yet sophisticated and well put together look on such a gorgeous girl! The peachy lip color pops against her milky white skin and that dress is amazing

Mila Kunis: WOW! This starlit can simply do no wrong on the red carpet. Everything about this look is right, the soft curls in the hair, smokey eyes paired with a soft color on the cheek and lips. Makeup by Lancome

Penelope Cruz: Can we all take a moment to stare in awe of this woman's AMAZING post baby body? (and arm candy...Javier Bardem, yum!) I am loving her highlights and soft makeup, she is so naturally gorgeous she does not need much. Bravo!!

Sandra Bullock: I was really rooting for her to get it right after the disaster that was, the Golden Globes. The pop of red on the lip mixed with a lighter complexion and darker hair color is a win win in my book. She looks fabulous, and sophisticated.

Jennifer Lawrence: My FAVORITE look of the night!! That bronzed smokey eye paired with bouncy blonde curls is super sexy, but not overdone.

Who were your favorite looks of the night?? Hits and misses?? Speaking of misses...my worst picks of the night will be up shortly, stay tuned lovelies!!
